You explore the islands' many locations, complete with the series famous context-based puzzles. You play swashbuckling pirate Guybrush Threepwood who, many years after his last encounter with his nemesis LeChuck, returns to the archipelago to find things in disarray - incompetent leadership and civilians imprisoned.

As a continuation of the Monkey Island series, it contains the same lighthearted tone and charming characters but now with a new story, art style and mechanics.
